Salary: £22 per hour
Working Period: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 18 hours per week
Assignment Period: 6+ months (temporary contract)

As a preferred supplier to many local and national groups, Fox Morris Group is excited to offer a Youth Worker position at Tower Hamlets Council.

Our Youth Workers play a key role in supporting young people’s personal and social development, helping them build life skills and confidence through structured programs and activities. You will be working closely with young people, offering guidance, support, and mentoring to help them navigate challenges and make positive life choices.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with young people in group and one-on-one settings, providing support and mentoring

  • Organising and facilitating youth programs, workshops, and activities to promote social and emotional well-being

  • Offering advice on education, employment, and personal development

  • Working closely with schools, community organisations, and other services to support the needs of young people

  • Managing casework and ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date

  • Supporting young people with life skills development and helping them make informed choices

Your role may also include working with:

  • Local schools and educational institutions

  • Community and social groups

  • Youth services teams and external agencies

  • Families and guardians of young people

Job Types: Full-time, temporary contract (6+ months)

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

  • Experience working with young people in a youth work or support role

  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage youth projects and engage with young people from diverse backgrounds
