Working Period: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Assignment Period: 12+ months (temporary contract)

As a preferred supplier to many local and national groups, Fox Morris Group is excited to offer an ICT Project Manager position at Gloucestershire Council.

Our ICT Project Managers lead key technology and digital transformation projects within the council, ensuring that systems, applications, and IT infrastructure meet the needs of the council and its community. You will be responsible for managing complex projects, collaborating with teams, and delivering IT solutions on time and within budget.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of ICT projects, including system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and digital transformation initiatives

  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including IT, procurement, and external vendors

  • Overseeing risk management, change management, and ensuring project milestones are met

  • Ensuring compliance with council policies and IT governance frameworks

  • Reporting project progress to senior management and key stakeholders

Your role may also include working with:

  • Internal IT teams and external contractors

  • Council departments across different services

  • Technology vendors and solution providers

  • Senior management and council members

Job Types: Full-time, temporary contract (12+ months)

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

  • Proven experience as an ICT Project Manager, ideally within the public sector

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation projects

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
