Job Location: Slough Council
Salary: £45.00 per hour
Working Period: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Assignment Period: 7+ months (temporary contract)

Waste Operations Manager position at Slough Council.
Role Responsibilities:
To lead the provision of high performing environmental services related to:
Waste collection, management and disposal
Street scene and cleansing
Transfer Station
HWRC (household waste and recycling centre)
Special projects
Waste Permit
Lead and manage a workforce and specialist subcontractors to deliver waste collection, street and open spaces cleansing, HWRC and Transfer Station specifications within budget, identifying and managing risks as an integral part of service delivery
Your role may also include working with:
Local council departments

Minimum Requirements for the Role:
A degree in waste management or WAMITAB
HGV licence (LGV 1)
Must have experience in Waste and Street Cleaning
This is an operation role, you need to be in the office 5 days a week
