Working Period: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Assignment Period: 3+ months (temporary contract)

Our Administration Officers work within the local government sector, supporting the administrative functions of council departments. You will be part of a busy team, responsible for providing general office support, handling inquiries, managing documentation, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing general administrative support to council teams
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
Organising and maintaining records, databases, and filing systems
Assisting with meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and preparing documents
Processing invoices, payments, and other financial documentation
Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
Your role may also include working with:
Local council departments
External contractors and service providers
Members of the public and council staff
Finance and HR teams

Minimum Requirements for the Role:
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
